I got this to replace an 8-sheet shredder that I accidentally overstuffed and was irreparably jammed. The pieces are a bit larger than my old one which was a cross cutter, and they are straight strips so some info can still be seen. All I do is fold 6 sheets in half and put it in at an angle which takes care of that very well, this works great with envelopes of paper because you can just feed them in pretty continuously at an angle. It is amazingly powerful, you can hear it just chewing away without problem, and it is also incredibly quiet for its strength.
