We bought this shredder to replace our old shredder and have used it a lot in the month that we have had it.
We really love this shredder because it: (1) has a lot of power and shreds several sheets of paper at once; (2) is fairly quiet; (3) does not jam the paper in the shredder blades (a problem we had with our old shredder); (4) turns off after approximately 20 minutes of continuous use, so not to overheat (after several minutes, you can begin using it again); (5) has a safety sensor that can be turned off (but we use ours); and (6) shreds credit cards with no problem.
The only complaints we have are that: (1) the bucket/basket for the shredded paper could be sturdier; and (2) the confetti shreds could be smaller than 1.5" long (we knew the size when we bought shredder, we just wish they were smaller in length).
Advice when using the shredder: Put a plastic bag inside the bucket/basket because you will get shredded paper on the floor. Also, keep a dust buster nearby because you will need to vacuum up some stray confetti sheets and/or paper dust.
