This shredder is great. It is powerful, but relatively quiet. It is convenient in that the paper bin lifts out without having to remove the heavy sheading element (i.e. it just slides out to be emptied, and slides straight back in again).
Before this shredder, I had a cheap lightweight shredder from Staples. It was terrible - noisy and difficult to empty. It also stopped working after just six months of use.
